At Michaelstow Barn we use traditional furniture construction such as dovetail joints in the drawers and mortise and tenon joints in the frames.
One of the advantages of unfitted kitchen furniture is that no building work is needed. Just put the cabinet or table where you want it, if you change your mind about the layout of the room simply move it to a new place.
Because of the traditional construction and simple design it has the strength and rigidity that enables it to stand alone. Using hardwood for doors and facias and a handpainted finish our pieces have a depth and texture you will love.
Each piece can easily be repainted when you feel like a change.
